Description of NIKKO - KINUGAWA
The shrines and temples of Nikko, together with their natural surroundings, have for centuries been a sacred site known for its architectural and decorative masterpieces. They are closely associated with the history of the Tokugawa Shogunate governed Japan in Edo era. Kinugawa hot spring is one of the largest and most prominent resort areas in Japan. Here you'll stay at a luxurious and fully-equipped modern RYOKAN (Japanese Inn) "SANRAKU" to soothe your body and mind with authentic Japanese hospitality.

Day 1 Nikko
&
Kinugawa
Assemble at Le Meridien Pacific Hotel Shinagawa, then walk to Shinagawa station with English- speaking guide. Take a local train to Shinjuku station.
Get on board a limited express "Spacia Kinugawa #3" to Tobu NIkko station. (approx. 2hrs) Bento lunch will be provided on the train.

After arriving at the station, proceed to sightseeing in Nikko by chartered bus. (Rinno-ji Temple, Tosho-gu Shrine, Tobu World Square)

Proceed to Kinugawa Onsen. After arriving at "Sanraku Ryokan Hotel", wear a Japanese Yukata and relax in comfort with ritzy hot spring bath as well as enjoying  your "Kaiseki dinner" with great relish.

Breakfast at "Sanraku Ryokan Hotel".

Tranfer to Kinugawa Onsen station by hotel shuttle bus.
Get on board a limited express "Kinu #114" to Tobu Asakusa staiton.
(approx. 2hrs) The tour disbands upon arrival.

Free at your leisure (English-speaking guide will stay with those who would like to visit Asakusa Temple for an hour.)
